What Is Heroes Crusade Rugby?

The 2011 “Heroes Crusade: An Athlete’s Campaign” will host the First Annual Fallen Warrior Rugby Tournament, which will take place on November 5th, 2011 at Jordan Soccer Complex in Fayetteville, NC.

The tournament will consist of men’s and women’s teams that will take the pitch and play rugby in honor of more than 100 Fallen Ruggers who have gone before us while serving our country.

Each team will display jerseys crafted in memory of those Heroes, with each player proudly wearing a fallen comrade’s former Rugby number. It will be an emotional, and inspiring tribute by those who love the sport of Rugby and appreciate the sacrifices our servicemen and women make for us every day.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, the Green Beret Foundation and RDU AMBUCS.
